Production slots for 330-300

I have two slots for ordered 330-300 on April, 1995, but there are many free slots before my planes will be delivered. Why?

planes need some time to be built, it takes around three months (at least that is what sami said)

3 months are not a problem, but 1.5 year is.

That was shown to you on the order pages too before confirming the order.

I understand this, but other ailines will get it earlier than me - do they pay for early certification? )))

The slot highlighted with the speech bubble thingy shows it's for A340, not A330. They are made on the same production line.
