Sorry, but what are you talking about exactly? If you have some actual and meaningful feedback, then I am happy to hear it.

The old page will be available for some days until final technical issues with the new page are fixed, and after that it will be fully retired.

When moving schedules the "swap registration" and "swap aircraft nickname" are ticked as default. Can this be switched off?
Majority of the time I don't want to swap the registrations.

I will add the same logic to that as with "Show all aircraft" checkbox so that it remembers your last selection (on that particular computer). I think that would serve the purpose?

(so every time you open the dialog it remembers the state the checkbox was last in ... don't want to uncheck them by default for all, since others do it the other way around)

edit: This change is added now!

Sami, remembering the last setting would be ideal for me. I generally copy the nickname from plane to plane, but never use registrations

I know this isn't the place for this, but I can no longer find where we give feedback on these new features:

Can the 'remember last selection' logic also be added to "Fleet Group"? This used to remember what fleet you were previously working on. It's annoying to have to select it every time but is essential to clear up the least as I sometimes have 50 to 100 unscheduled aircraft as possible destinations.  Better still, can't it default to the "current" (source) aircraft type?  Mostly people are moving within the same fleet I would think.

Where do I actually give feedback on these things now?  I've been away for a while, sorry.  I have quite a few niggles with the new scheduling page.

Sure, adding it in next update batch. I think it's better that it remembers the previous choice rather than defaulting to current fleet.

(And the forum and discord work as feedback channels.)

Edit: This is added now.

The new design feels a bit bulky and I don't understand why. also despite you can pick compact vs. full details, the design (even in the compact mode) is more broad (vertical) than the original one. you still need to scroll a lot.

the only good thing i find is that you can add flights and automatically buy the slots as well.

In the main view the aircraft route scheduling rows (blue flight bars) are the same height as before.

On desktop devices: One aircraft's data row in old scheduling was 58px high, in new scheduling it is the same at 59px.

Also out of interest, the available width for the route scheduling flight area (blue flight bars) remains about the same or is improved:
  • for "narrow desktops" (900-1650px) you have more space than before; example on 1440px screen old scheduling flight data width is 930px, and in new scheduling 995px, a noticeable improvement.

  • for "wide desktops" (>1650px) there is about the same space as before. Old scheduling: 1470px, new scheduling 1430px. (Here -40px does not matter as screen is already very wide.)

  • for mobile devices the interface is all new, and for the first time an actually truly and properly mobile compatible design. So there old vs new is not comprarable in pixels, but in mobile you have compact view and then the expanded (desktop-comparable) view for detailed data view.

Also, "Add Flight" dialog's data format is still under small tuning based on feedback and ideas. Expect update over the weekend (if you all have more ideas for that, let me know, I am now "out of business" for a few days before getting back to these over the weekend!). Move Schedule dialog display and logic should be rather finalized by now.

Yep, ok, as I wrote in previous message, I do have some suggestions that I'll check over the weekend to make the Add Flight's compact view even-more-compact.

(Also in the long run the whole concept of having to create 7 different routes for 7 different days is going away)

I agree. Even playing on a full sized monitor, I only see about six flights at a time.  Just a single line for each flight works fine - all the other detail isn't necessary. It makes 7-day scheduling much trickier (I know there are changes coming for that though, but I like the manual way) - If you create, say 13 flights per week for 7 aircraft, that's over 100 to scroll through.

Oh, and I notice the flights are no longer listed in flight-number order, which was a lot more intuitive. I think now they're in 'order created' which I guess is sorting them on the internal (not visible) key field used by the database. I think they should still be in flight number order.

Oh and the bases on that page are also no longer in alphabetical order but in 'order created'. That matters less but it's just confusing when things change.

Really? I haven't noticed. That's a bug then. (added to to-do)

Base airport order was wrong on old Scheduling. They are now in the same order as on your base airports page listing and all menus, so oldest base first, and also same order as on airline status bar and elsewhere too (at least in the future). This is the logical ordering and will repeat the same way in all parts of the UI.

Oh yeah, i noticed that but I wasn't sure anymore since i was scrolling too much to find what i wanted to click and then i switched to the old scheduling.

There appears to be an issue in the Manage Routes page which wasn't there before.
When in flight no. order all routes are listed as per selected filter, including those in maintenance and commented as such.
When the order is changed to AVG PLF% to show busiest routes, the routes in maintenance are no longer listed.
When looking at which routes to upgrade/downgrade, those routes in maintenance can get missed as they aren't listed.
