How do configurations affect a/c weight and range

The subject basically explains my question.

I'm interested in an aircraft to fly longhaul operations, and I'm familiar with the range-payload matrix. But when I add a configuration as I like it to be, I don't know what the (added) weight of the a/c wil be. So how can I find this out and perhaps adjust (to maximize the number of seats within the desired range/weight) - before confirming the order?

It's difficult to incorporate the "new range" display when you actually make the configuration. As you can assign the config to any B767-300 for example and there are dozen engine/weight combinations .. so that's why that info is not visible on the "create config" screen. I'm open for ideas on how to make it so that it's usable/understandable and not too confusing.

But if you wish to estimate, each pax is calculated with a 95 kg standard weight - that's the passenger and his bags.... As there is no belly cargo yet the math is simple to get the total payload carried.

Is there any difference in weight for the various types of seats?

The seat weight itself is not counted into the totals.. (simplified model)
