Costs of rebasing ordered aircraft

Hi all,

I just changed the base of some aircraft on order.
Never really thought of it, but to me it is kind of weird that there are costs involved with this.

Delivery flights take place after the acceptance of the aircraft (i.e. no costs are to be incurred by the manufacturer).
This means that it would at worst be the extra fuel for me as an operator...

Can these costs be removed?

Ahhh. I always assumed the insurance fees were to cover the bubbles.
But well never mind in that case
