Closing/reopening bases

I made a stupid error (maybe the beer....) 

I´ve opened a base in a wrong airport... Shame on me.....

If I close a base I still need to wait one year to open another one OR I can open a new base immediately?

pretty sure you can reopen instantly. i have done it before, but better look for comfirmation.

I see it all the time in the news feed.

1 August: "XYZ Air has opened a base at JFK"
2 August: "XYZ Air has closed a base at JFK"
2 August: "XYZ Air has opened a base at LGA"

Wrong. If you open a base, then close it it allows you to reopen another one straight away. I've done this before.
