I had to have a "fight" with the staff to keep the page open >:(

Eventually I managed to get them to put a halt on the deletion, so I could explain it... :P

Did you know Im now a pre-beta tester?  ;D

I WANT TO KILL SOMETHING!!!! >:(

I spelled the name Airwaysim instead of AirwaySim!!!! :D

ughhh... Im valiantly fighting to keep the article up/ put back up :'(

hopefully with my skilled debating skills, I can change their mind ;D

EDIT: this is useless! They wont let you create an article on this, but you can create an article on an airport in the middle of newwhere that will affect 0 people!

Hi Seattle, your using the Main Wikipedia encylopdedia... that is probally why your article is being rejected. At the most, you can link to AirwaySim from articles regarding Airline Simulation on the Main Encyclopedia area.

Their are related websites for Wikipedia, and so on.

look at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Contents for info..  (Meta-Wiki, iirc, is the wikipedia page to create manuals and info, and you won't be bugged by the moderators)

I do some stuff on the Main Wikipedia, so i'm not 100% on Meta-Wiki. But i do know, of a number of Manuals for online games using this.

hope it helps.. give it a try, hopefully you saved all your work

Sami

Probably the main wiki is not "interested" in such article yet as the game is not public yet at this time.

Woah! What happened there? What did you submit? :o

naio90

But why did they shut down the last one? Can't they put it again online so we can complete it. We are so many here we could do it very fast!

Sami

(actually I didn't even know that there has been a wiki article of this? ... but would be nice to have one anyway but like mentioned - perhaps there is more to tell after the game is open to public)

naio90

Mhh only a article? I was thnking in creating  a wiki as manual, we could be working on it so that is could be ready on launch for the big groups of newcomers

Seattle

I lost my battle, but its ok. Everything was deleted. I cant make the wikie-meti thing yet for the manual.

The reason why they mainly dont want the article, is 1) Not open and 2) Not represented or having been talked about in any media/relaible source. :P

@yamazaruNinja, I submitted like 85 airports and 5 planes.

Took a look in Wikipedia and I think it would have been more appropriate if you wouldn't have used the username "Airwaysim" when adding that article.. As it made it look that it would have been the project administration who has been adding the articles of us there, and thus they even cited "conflict of interest" as one of the denial reasons. So pls change your Wiki username if possible as you do not officially represent the project....

WHY DID THE WIKI PEOPLE DELETE THE PAGE ? :'(

Sami

I suppose it didn't have any real content there. Doesn't really matter though...  ;)
