Can we please add Phoenix Mesa-Gateway. There are now three airlines that fly out of it, Spirit, Allegiant, and Frontier. It's the lost cost carrier/overflow airport for PHX.

There are also two new airports in Poland

WMI - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsaw-Modlin_Mazovia_Airport

LUZ - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lublin_Airport

It would be great, if they will be added!

And these are missing too:

-Enschede Airport Twente (IATA: ENS, ICAO: EHTW) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enschede_Airport_Twente
-Montréal–Mirabel International Airport (IATA: YMX, ICAO: CYMX) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montr%C3%A9al%E2%80%93Mirabel_International_Airport

Jona L.

Mirabel Airport was excluded on purpose, due to the weird ruling about Intl. flights to/from Canada in the years of its operation...

I can just repeat that.

If you want an airport added, find the data needed, and post them there. Stop opening these topics please.

To be fair the airport data I have sent hasn't been added into the game, I think sami has more important things to do right now, but it's good to make a list here so people can get data etc. I've already sent the data for the airports I mentioned (minus Sedona).

Dasha

There is no scheduled flights to Twente in the Netherlands. They had a lot of great and ambitious plans but no airline is flying. No point in adding airports with no demand or traffic at all. You could include every single general aviation airport in the world.

Think so too. Most of these requests make NO sense at all. There is no or only one Ryanair-flight per week, so no traffic to speak of except Mesa.

Minor correction: Don't post them there, send them in a notepad file to Sami's email or in a personal message to him. Instructions are on that page.
I just sent him info on 12 airports in Tanzania. I don't expect him to implement it right away, but when he has spare time. (Somewhere around 2018 maybe).

As long as you follow his recipe and present the data you have to him exactly like he says,  implementing it shouldn't be a big issue. Doesn't matter if it's a large international airport or a little grass strip in Africa. It's the same amount of work.

It makes perfect sense to me, adds realism, in the future these airports may expand and with the new gaming features that are coming, they could work very well.

Dasha

In the case of Twente airport in the Netherlands, even with the new features, there won't be much flights. It's in a very sparcely populated area of the Netherlands and Amsterdam and Dusseldorf are only an hour or two away.

Plus knowing the Dutch politics, the moment a big airplane lands there, they'll all go Greenpeace and cry about the noise the airport is making and find some ridiculous rule to abolish it. So this airport may not expand ever.

I can imagine similar situations for other small airports in other countries.

Besides added all General Aviation airports in Russia and the US would be a heap of work and in the case of Russia, they are quite lethal to presidents of other countries. Rather have sami spend his time on the implementation of the cargo feature.

Sami

Any airport that has no commercial flights to it will not be added. Most of the airpors linked here seem to be such ones (GA airports with no terminals or atc facilities).

That´s nonsense because there is no infrastructure for accommodating many planes (maybe one big one at a time). What is realistic about Cochstedt hosting an airline? It barely attracts general aviation right now, and it never will.(except one Ryanair flight per week through Summer).Regional airports are in a big crisis at the moment, especially in Europe and experts don´t expect situation getting better soon.

Hi some day I'll get a list together of other India airports missing, but Pune is the most significant one with boeing/airbus type domestic and growing international demand as it becomes another IT hub city in INdia.   Do you just need this link which has details on coordinates, runways, and cities served by various real world airlines.  Happy to transcribe into needed format.
