Confused about Trinidad...

If I try and schedule a flight to Trinidad from Gatwick, it won't let me. Even if I have an aircraft that can fly the route I'm told that I don't but offers me the option to prepare the route with other aircraft. These are: 757, VC10, Constellation, DC6, DC7 and Britannia. For any other route it will offer me the choice of all the aircraft, not on this one.

Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

What aircraft do you want to use?

Which 'Trinidad' ?

There is the airport called 'Trinidad' in Columbia : SKTD/TDA, which is far too small for your aircraft to land or be serviced at.

Then there is the country with 2 airports : TTPP/POS Port Of Spain - Piarco and TTCP/TAB Scarborough - Crown Point, which are large enough to handle your aircraft but, do they have the range (3800nm) to get there without tech-stops and have you included them in your route planning?

Your Connies and DC's dont get near enough to qualify on range for a direct journey : the Brittania might scrape its way there, depending on the variant... the 757 again, depends on variant.. VC10, cant say, its not in either of my game-worlds...

Sorry. Got the wrong airport. Which makes me feel a bit silly  :-[

I meant Antigua ANU/TAPA.

I'm trying to get here with a 767-200 (3770nm range). Just tried it with a 767-200ER that's on order but had the same problem.

Apologies for the confusion/my incompetence...  :)

"Allowed aircraft types    Size class: Small aircraft, Medium aircraft, Large aircraft"

The airport is too small for very large aircraft like 767. Usually they weight too much, so if they would land there, they would destroy the runway.

Thank you. Got it now. I was looking at runway length and not aircraft size.
