Hi everyone!

i used to play railroad tyconn ii some time ago.
in some mission i made 2 mln dollars a year (no more than 20 -30 trains - it is impossible to be good dispatcher, interface not like airwaysim )))))
and from it half a millino - profit.
at the same time ai player made half a million revenue and from it 400 000 usd - profit.

I am lookng ant my income statement. it can be like 86 mln usd / week tickets sold, of it 20 mln goes in to pocket, then bought some planes, made some repairs, etc.: 90 ml sold, 6 mln profit. thus at best times and when i am not online, no additional expenditure i am make around 25% profit only.

is ok, or really too little? what is your record? 50% - ? or is it normal to have 50% profit.

Thanks in advance.

Unlike Railroad Tycoon (I happen to have RT III), AirwaySim is designed to be as realistic as possible.  In real life, airline's profits suck, and the margins are terrible, because running an airline requires lots of expenditures.  Same way in AWS.  25% margin is fantastic in AWS.

In the challenge games, you are lucky to have a 10% margin.

Hope this helps!  :)
