I know myself that two stand out for me as having been the best I've seen.
Ansett Australia's Sydney Olympic special livery and Australian Airlines standard livery.
Shame that both of these airlines no longer exist...
I feel sorry for those that have grown up only knowing the trash that is low-cost airlines.

There are many that I like. I like the simple and clean ones, for example Emirates, Air France and Delta.

Although my top 3 are as follows..

1) Oman Air

2) Etihad Airways

3) Singapore Airlines (with larger logo text and 'clean' tail).

American Airlines - This livery is timeless!

I love AA's iconic livery. :) My favorite would have to be on their 757s with winglets:

Heh, the liveries I actually see when I go to my local airport seem to get just a slight edge over ones I just see in pictures.

Ugh don't get me started on that.  I've never been particularly fond of Continental's current livery, but for some reason it looks really stupid to me with the United name on it. 

I can't understand why you would keep the United name but not the tulip logo.  They should have just blended in the bronze color from the Continental globe or something.  Only thing I can think of is that maybe Continental's customers don't like United, and they're afraid that if the Continental brand completely vanished that they might jump ship for AA or Delta?

I actually liked the livery of our flag carrier "SABENA" back in the days... 

1) Nineties livery:




2) Last livery before bankruptcy:





Damn, I still miss SABENA though her memory lives through into Brussels Airlines...
