It ruins the game.... people buy tons of them (like 300) and do 30 daiyl flights from let say New York to London at a price of $30..... No way for smaller airlines to enter....
Then we might as well remove B747, A333 and all aircraft that have more than 200 seats. Yes, that can be done, but it's not financially feasible. There's not enough demand.

Guess the demand calculation system is a bit more advanced here than in some more simpler games  ;)

That's not possible here.. Yes - that can be done (putting XX planes to YY route with ZZ ticket price) of course but first of all buying hundreds of A380's cost a whole heep of money and it takes quite many years before they are all delivered. And there are no such routes that would accommodate 30 daily A380 flights which would be full (20000 daily pax on a route.. hardly nowhere)... Lowering ticket prices do increase the demand a bit but still not that much. So basically all you would do is lose your money there as the operating costs of such plane are also rather high. And it's not for any particular aircraft type - it's all the same if you fly 100 Lockheed L-1011's with 5% load factors all around or any other plane ...

Nothing forbids the airlines in making price competition but still the profit margins will be quite thin as in real life too (in years of high fuel price) and in the long run its not feasible to run the flights that do not generate profit ... And for the other airlines, it's just then the stupidity of the managers of them if they try to enter the competition to certain route when the ticket price margins are nonexisting .. There are plenty of other routes around and tools to plan for potential new destinations.

And besides the aircraft is only available in games that date 2007 onwards as naturally you cannot operate a plane that is not available in real life yet for the same year. Also some tightly configured Domestic version of B747 does have almost as many seats as standard 3-class A380 so whole discussion is absurd in my mind. All aircraft will be included and will be playable normally.

Well.. sorry. I didn't know that the game was going to be this cool  :o

Well then I'll just send the plane data here so everyone can see it.

You don't need to ask for that. Just "do" it or someone else will.

Seattle

Find the info for the obese "flying" plane with wings.

For some reason I feel like I'm going to fail my math test tomorrow. I'll see by next Monday.

I'm NOW adding the actual data for the  A340's.
