Air Viking Group Announces Launch of Hanse Air

New German airline to establish cargo and long-haul passenger operations at Cologne/Bonn Airport.

Air Viking Group is pleased to announce the establishment of Hanse Air, a new German airline that will expand the Group's international presence through dedicated cargo and long-haul passenger operations.

Based at Cologne/Bonn Airport (CGN), Hanse Air represents an important milestone in Air Viking's development, bringing the experience and operational expertise of its established Scandinavian network to the German aviation market.

Operating under the slogan "Nordic Roots. German Horizons.", Hanse Air will combine its own distinctive German identity with the strength and resources of Air Viking Group.

The airline intends to develop Cologne/Bonn into a growing international gateway, connecting Germany with destinations across North America, Asia and beyond.

Alongside its passenger services, Hanse Air will establish dedicated air cargo operations, supporting international trade and providing additional freight connectivity between Germany and key global markets.
