Kano-
Royal Nigerian is proud to announce that the decision has been made on our latest domestic hub, Mallam Aminu Kano in the far north of the country. In our mission to help unite a diverse and often bitterly divided nation, it was an easy choice to place our third hub deep in the often neglected northern region close to the border with Niger. Thanks to our extensive domestic network this airport is already serving 90,000 passengers annually. However until now all of these passengers had to first fly to either our central Abuja HQ or far to the south in Lagos in order to connect to any of our other eleven domestic destinations. This new hub aims to put an end to that inconvenience by providing direct connections from the north to anywhere in the country and beyond.

There was some concern in our early development on whether or not the An-38 had the range to connect all of Nigeria but these 200 series fresh off the assembly line are more than up to the task. Passengers out of Kano will also be enjoying our rare premium seating only available on our longer routes. With five fewer seats on board every passenger will enjoy significantly improved seating quality and leg room with the exact same quality of service found on any Royal Nigerian flight.

The equally busy domestic airports in the southeastern region Port Harcourt and Magaret Ekpo remain in the running for next year's expansion plans. Sam Mbakwe with a similar annual passenger load to Kano is also under consideration. It's entirely possible at least two of these will eventually become hubs if current financial trends continue.
