Automatic C and D maintenance

Would it be possible to get the option to select automatically perform C and D check maintenance for only certain aircraft. I have D maintenance turned off for all A/C but certain aircraft I would like to turn off automatic C maintenance for too. Others I'm happy to keep the C checks going but other A/C I might consider retiring due to their high cost. If you happen to miss the C check and it is automatically performed it can be expensive especially in the early days of a game world.
I know I could turn it off for all A/C but this then creates an administrative burden and the possibility of fines if you miss one

I agree but I'd like to be able to certainly schedule C maintenance in advance over a 12 month period and then once set the system keeps to that 12 month rotation.  The current maintenance system seems extremely flawed as its impossible with a large number of aircraft to have an effective engineering rotation applied.  I was under the impression that this sim is supposed to be a fairly accurate model of how real world airlines operate so the for example system is quite happy for you to make continued losses on long haul routes until route image is high enough but yet we can't schedule properly the heavy maintenance checks and Im pretty sure real world airlines don't scramble to get aircraft programmed in for the annual checks like we do on here so it would be great if this is an option that could be added.
