Keep on leasing

If your lease expires in 2000 and you have automaticaly renew lease on will it keep on renewing the plane every year or will it stop after the first year?

Let's say it tries to renew it every year. It may fail if you don't have money or if the owner of the plane doesn't allow lease extension.

Yes, but remember that everytime you renew the lease, the price increases slightly. So it's not always the best idea to just set auto renew and leave it.
