Update Layout of Aircraft Maintenance View

Hi Sami,

I (like many users I assume) use spreadsheets to sort and view the data related to their operation so that they can plan changes and actions and then efficiently apply them in the game itself.

In the absence of csv export, the ability to copy from the AWS pages and paste into offline spreadsheets is a reasonable workaround and (IMO) allows users do the fundamentals.

An area that I am encountering an issue with this at the moment is in the Aircraft Maintenance View (A-B-C-D check dates) where there is a line each for the Prev & Next check dates.

Would it be possible to change the format of the record so as to (1) remove the data related to the Previous check and only show the data for the Next Check or (2) remove the A/B check data from that summary view and put the remaining data on a single line?

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Richard

I presume you're bringing the page up, and then do a (windows) control-c control-v copy/paste?

perhaps this request could be genericised, such that most pages (my routes, my aircraft) all have an option to "display CSV" such that the page is redisplayed but in columnar not table format and cut/paste to Excel is simple. I can do this now off the current pages, but it takes a lot of post-processing to get rid of the fluff. Also doesn't help that headers, eg 737-700, are headers and need moving down to be a column in of themselves.

Export to CSV still superior though..

Yes, Drag-Select Copy Paste

Agreed, perhaps the existing "Financial view | Maintenance view | Technical view"  on the top of the Aircraft page could also have a "All Data View"  that would be as you describe, easy to copy paste into excel.

I expect that this would be sufficient to make the csv request redundant. (I think I requested csv in back 2009 ;)  )

and of course this "copy page to CSV" function would be useful to the university courses that use AWS, as  AWS can be billed as BI-friendly, Business Intelligence, the hot data buzzword right now
