How to fly from LHR to SYD?

I just brought an A380-800 outright to fly to Sydney - Range: 8570 NM

So I am trying to plan as follows

LHR-DXB: 2967 NM
Tech Stop
DXB-SYD: 6499 nm

However it tells me the plane does not have range to do that flight?  :-\

Are you making sure to create the route whilst ticking the "create each day as a separate route" box? A single plane cannot fly that route daily, and you get a message to that effect if you try and create the route without ticking the box.

Yeah I am... it says at the top in red "unable to fly this route due to range"

You haven't added a tech stop for the return journey, only the outbound leg  :)

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Thank youuu!  ::)

Beware, though.

(1) tech stops for passenger flights are very bad for load factors, while A380s are already hard to fill.
(2) ultra long haul barely makes any money anyways.

It's very fun to do, but you should do it once you're drowning under profit, not to begin your company with it.

Thanks Gazz! I am the best airline in my game world (big flex)  :P

Now question is how to schedule the most effectively does anyone have examples maybe?

Thanks ;D

Effectively? Forget such long routes, then.

now, that thing is gonna last 2 days. You can check my signature for having a clue on how to do a 7 days schedule. 2 days are already busy. You need other destinations to fill the schedule.
