Ok I know how to schedule the A/B checks.  If the B check takes 24 hrs how do I schedule it not to cancel a flight.  I have the plane flying 7 days a week.  It has a scheduled B check for saturday that takes 24 hrs so I guess that it will cancel that flight and hurt my statistics as far as reliability?  Am I confused or what.  Thanks in advance for your help. ???

Kontio

Of course it cancels the flight(s) once a month, but I don't think it counts as cancelation in your reliability statistics. If it does, it hurts everybody the same since all planes have to go into B check every month.

Brockster

Yeah, as Kontio mentioned, it shouldn't hurt your reliability statistics. Basically the plane will not fly the 24 hour block on that day at the end of every month.

Yeah, it's like the airline wont sell the tickets on that date because they know the aircraft will be in maintenance. (IRL, for the big airlines anyway, another aircraft would fly the route until the other returned from maintenance)
