Aircraft brokers

Maybe this is a MT issue
However all of the aircraft that have been bought new by the Aircraft brokers and put on the used market are standard range. Surely there should be more variety on this.

Example, every 767/777 onto the market is standard range

Same issue with A300/310 and B744 too.

Could be (bad) luck, but seems unlikely?

this has been raised quite a few times in the new features forum as an improvement request.. deffo needs fixing. Just have the broker randomise over the engine ratings available, about 10 lines of new code.

I think the AI brokers have always had a propensity to order the standard models instead of the more desirable max (or increased) MTOW models, but this seems a little different, there are no non-standard models on the UM from AI brokers at all for these fleets, which seems unlikely

I've never seen an AI broker buy new anything other than a base model. AI brokers non-base models they've picked up from BKd airlines, but never get any non-base stock in of their own.
