Airplane schedule changes during live operations

I checked in the forums but couldn't find anything and also wasn't exactly sure how to describe my question.

Let's say one of my planes has a regularly scheduled flight every Monday from 8a to 12p.
What happens to that flight (and its revenue) if on a Monday I decide to send this plane to get additional maintenance (so that it will be unavailable for two days)?
Would the game still record that day's revenue for the flight?
Does it make a difference whether I schedule the maintenance ahead (e.g., 7a), during (e.g., 9a), or after (e.g. 2p) the flight?

Related to that: What would happen if I removed that flight from the plane's schedule and then reassigned it a few seconds later (e.g., because I changed the flight's frequency or departure time)?

I hope I was able to articulate what I mean.

Thank you in advance!

The game's not quite that "real-time".

Any schedule changes you make during Monday are effective on Monday, before a cutoff time that depends on the game world and how many players it has and how big those airlines are. Basically, the game decides when it needs to start processing the flights for that game day and any schedule changes you make after that cutoff are effective the next game day.

Manual maintenance is effective immediately and retroactive to the beginning of the day you sent the plane to the hangar, even if you did so at 23:30. (Scheduled A/B checks happen when they are scheduled.)

It does the daily calculations a little before midnight every day, and all that matters is what the plane is doing/has scheduled at the moment it does the check. If you sent it to maintenance that day, then it didn't fly at all for the day (apart from longer routes from the previous day that didn't land until today, because they were calculated yesterday). If you added an 0600-1500 route to its schedule at 2200, then that route got flown.
