Minor question out of curiosity. My airline is currently lacking money, so I've planned my (7-day rotating) schedules already, and am buying slots for the routes as money becomes available. Ideally, I buy slots in time so that they are flown as soon as possible.

I was wondering, let's say I have a new route leaving 20:00 on tuesday, what is the latest time I need to buy the slots in order to make sure it's flown that day? I assume if I buy the slots on monday that should be in time, but how does the system deal with me buying the slots lets say 13:00 tuesday? Thanks!

Depends on game world (speed, game size etc.) but generally speaking if you have the routes set by around 18-22 they will "make it" to the nightly calculation cycle. Regardless what the dep.time in your schedule is.
