new winds aloft - map?

is there any way to see the new winds aloft? I know I can create routes and get payload warnings but it's very "hunt and peck".

I have two routes on the same plane, one 5068nm one 5097nm. One has pax limit of 228, the other pax limit of 96! For a distance of 29nm...

On the Open New Route page, hover over the ? next to the departure times each way

For tech stops the system is very difficult to manage.

There was talk of a proper route planning tool that would allow you to check details for any route, even those you couldn't open through lack of a base at one end. I'd assume such a tool would give full details on tech stopped routes too.
