September 4th will be the last revenue flight of the once mighty American Airlines MD-80. Flight 80 DFW-ORD. The last remnant of the old American Airlines and one of the last of the old guards of commercial aviation. The retirement of the American MD-80 brings us even closer to completely removing every last trace of McDonnell Douglas from the skies. Stay hard MAD DOG!
