Upgrades for planes - anything in the pipeline?
« on: March 08, 2019, 10:02:10 AM »
Hi,

I was curious about the implementation in the game for aircraft upgrades, mostly winglets (at least for 80-90s models). As we already have hushkits and conversions. And especially since the implementation of ESAD, would help us counter the 5-10% effective range we lost.
Is there anything planned?

A.

No plans since data for these hasn't been collected.

There aren't that many of those though. B737s, B757s, B767s, A320s .. what else? (= would need a list of which model, when it was available, and any other possible specs if available)

How about winglets when they didn’t already come installed from factory or allow option for install from factory beginning a relevant time period (90’s and on), also for those of us ordering Chapter 2 original aircraft allow for order hush kit from factory as well so aircraft are ready to serve legally once they hit the ground and CH3 required soon or already.

Reengining post delivery and allow for max weight recert when option was possible.

There aren't effectively many models impacted, but those are very, very popular models, to say the least. So could really be worth it.
No clue however on how to find reliable data - I'm not an aviation industry guy and finding reliable data for basic info is already quite complicated for me :-\
