Live Map Showing Your Flights

I think an awesome feature would be a live animated map showing where all of your flights are on their routes. Sort of like a flight radar 24 sort of thing.

this would be awesome. I'd like even better a VR thing where you can jump around the worlds airports and airways and see your planes and competitors coming and going, that would be double awesome!

Indeed a cool feature but obviously one would need to be able to add some filters.. (Plane type, origin based, etc)

If all my flights were showing on a map at any given time I’d probably break my iPad (small regional airline..)

if we're doing VR I'd really like a PRINT button, you know so I could print some $100 bills...

This should be relatively easy to code, map could show your plane at 65% of its route which would be 65% away along the line.

If I read Sami correctly(that is a big if), planes positions are not computed in real time. Flight results are done only at the end of the day. Which would make this request not so easy _ to implement or in terms of server load.

Some searching (per the instructions of this forum) would find that this request has been made many times in the past and rejected each time....

i guess its a lot of energy for nothing more than a nice visual feature... in my opinion the servers capacity can be used on more important things.
