Real World Names

I have noticed a few real world airline names popping up in the game so far? I thought this wasnt alloud

Sorry if your one of those people....But, yerno....Dont want the game being suewed or anything!

Yeah I've seen a few as well. Some of them are the same, except change the "airline" part to "airways" or "air." Isn't that not allowed as well?

Well, if it isnt exactly the same, its fine and if its from a smallish airline they probably wont find out

There's a list of rw airlines but the list is not fully complete I see. I've added these few there, Canada and Mytravel

how about names of former airlines like pan am, sabena, sn brussels airlines etc?

Doesn't matter I think, that's in the past.

I know that some of them like Pan Am, Piedmont, Air Cal, PSA, are owned by successor corporations and would almost certainly be a problem (Pan Am is the most interesting - it is now a railroad  )

You never know who might have bought the rights to a name or trademark out of the bankruptcy or liquidation or who might still own the rights via merger.....

Saudi Arabia Airline,

however it's using the logo of Saudi Arabian Airlines, and all they did to change the name was change the tense of Saudi Arabian to Saudi Arabia...

before the game started i placed this query in the forum, it was a portuguese carrier on the 80/90's. went bankrupt in the mid 90's.
used to use leased airplanes from TAP Air Portugal, therefore the similarity in colors, i just think before saying and pointing the finger at someone, should do some research. i am just proud of being portuguese, therefore i try to revive what once belonged to portugal, besides that fortunatelly or unfortunatelly that airline Air Atlantis used to belong to a very good friend of mine.

or are you just upset because i fly from spain and i may have something you would like to??
so if you happen to have any more questions be my guest, instead of using certain websites to see if the airlines are real!
