How to sort destinations by passenger demand

When opening a new route, apart from manually clicking ever destination to see the passenger demand (info button), is there a way to see the most airport demanded from the departure airport?

Nope you have to manually check for demand.
Otherwise the game could become too easy  ;D

Use WordPad then go country to country gathering all the data from every airport with a minimum pax of course otherwise, you'd spend 20 hours writing out zero demand routes. From there is just planning your fleet and what to do first. Others could teach you better put that is my recommendation.

The biggest airports will always be at the top of the list of any research you do.

They might well be biggest by overall traffic, but that doesn automatically equate to the highest demand

Yes, there are exceptions, but if you apply the proper filters to sort airports according to your needs, the first airports on the list will have the biggest demand. What you say applies to situations like of an airport close to an international border, which will appear lots of regional airports from the neighbor country that will have 0 demand despite of their size.
