Medium-size cargo aircrafts capable of handling heavy cargo

Hi,

I plainly understand the limitations there needs to be in the game, and I'm not asking to nuke them at all. Medium can't handle HC is globally perfect and needed.
However some "medium" are completely capable of handling heavy cargo, and I'm curious what could be done (but also without technical solutions).

2 very clear examples:

Bristol Wayfarer. Actually even the combi version was capable of carrying cars (I believe cars are considered "heavy", right?)

Antonov An-178, variant of the An-148, able to carry 2 maritime containers :o

Any ideas? Is it possible to leave an A/C as "medium" but to give hime "HC" capability without destructing the balance of the game?

All the Antonov cargo birds are ignored in this game.
They do a 148 1/2 n 1/2 pax/cargo as well which would be super useful.

This game is very western centric

Not ignored. Not just added yet.

There is still a big amount of cargo aircraft missing (added bit by bit).

*sigh* ... Not ignored. Not just added yet.

Apologies, just seems there is quite a few 'alternative' air frames missing. I guess I don't understand what it takes to add them to the game.

While I have you, will we get the AN-158 (the stretched AN148) in a couple of years (game years)

I'm operating the AN-158 in the Regional Challange, so it's in the game  ;)

Excellent news
Im the only operator using 148s in GW3.

Ok, but what about the original post? I didn't meant to open a thread on Antonov :-\

Not absolutely asking, but if there is a technical way, maybe we can think about possibilities, ways too implement this without breaking the balance, etc.

Making another overpowered plane is obviously out of the question, but have some special specs on low-used models could probably make the game deeper.

Probably easier for the users to understand if there are no exceptions to the size class vs cargo class rules.

I don't like this answer but you're probably right

Anyway, thanks.

Not for long. I love this bird, and ordered a few for when my IL96==>A330 transition will be over. I won't need cargo this time, as Algeria simply has no respectable cargo demand. But for next games, well, yes, I'd love the A178 to be present.

I'll try to get the specs to get it implemented (without HC).
However such a large hold means a really large capacity for a bird of that size. And from what I read the range is quite lame.
