I wanted to put a SSJ75 onto the route of PPT-IPC. As the in game demand for the route is 4-5, because of the slotblocking rule, i tried to block my aircraft to 8 seats. However as I tried to do so, the game told me the number I have input is too small, why is it so and how to circumvent it? (And btw why a real life widebody route would only have a demand of 4-5pax/day in AWS...

The seat blocking function only allows you to block 50% of the seats. Since seat blocking is done on the scheduling screen, before it's assigned to a specific plane, I don't think it's 50% as configured. I think it's 50% of the average capacity of all models in the family, whether you own them or not.

The only way around it would be to skip seat blocking and configure your SSJ with 8 seats.

Well I can block it down to 28 seats so it is not 50%...

Why would you even consider to fly a route with a demand of 4 passengers a day? With a flight time of around 5 hours! Just makes no sense at all other than trying to figure out how to bankrupt the fastest possible way.

Well, obviouslyI'm not flying it for-profit

There's a sort of sanity checker in the seat blocker, so the number cannot be that small. But don't have the code here, so don't have the full specifications..

As a simulator I think players should be allowed to do whatever they want, profitable or not.... perhaps a confirmation dialog box can be added if a sanity checker is desired.

It's not working very well for very small demand routes, in general. When I flew SW3s, 19-seaters, I never had any problems with 6-7 demand routes. I even made small money, on short ones.
