New airports (Nagoya)

I'm currently at Nagoya in gw3. In a few years the new airport will open. I understood that I will just be moved to the new airport but how does this affect the schedules, given that the new airport will not be in the same spot. I assume that some routes will be longer than before? What if on a schedule all my routes are longer and there is no room in the schedule?

Sami

Schedules are not changed. Generally the new airports are so close that it goes into the 5 min roundings and there is no actual difference. In some rare cases you may see a 5 min change when you edit the route later on...

Thanks for the reply Sami. So in these rare cases, if it takes 5 extra minutes it is safe to assume that this will be at the cost of a sorter turnover. What if this conflicts with a scheduled A check? Do I get notified?

When you edit a route that ends up changing by 5+ minutes, it will be dropped from the plane's schedule and you'll need to reassign it. If it creates a conflict with the A check, you won't be able to reassign the route to the plane.

Yes, I encountered exactly the same scenario.
