Regional Challenge game starts next Tuesday (13th Dec)

We invite you to join the next AirwaySim Game World - Regional Challenge - starting next Tuesday, December 13th 10.00 UTC.

The Regional Challenge is part of our "mini-game" series, meaning a shorter play duration and special settings. This game world lets you take command of a commuter airline flying short routes around the world.

You can already pre-join this upcoming game world. Go to the Game Area and you will find this new game waiting for you there. You can reserve a spot to this new game and we will e-mail you to remind of the game world's opening.

The settings of this scenario are:

• Overall economic environment is easy. This game world is a good step after Beginner's Worlds.
  
  
• Only small and medium-sized aircraft can be used (commuter props and regional jets with less than ~120 seats).
  
  
• All airports in the world are included, but there is no longhaul air travel demand.
  
  
• No geographical airport basing restrictions - open additional bases anywhere in the world.
  
  
• Game starts on year 2015 and runs until 2025.
  
  
• Alliances are enabled. Achievements can be earned.
  
  
• One simulated day is 25 minutes long.
  
  
• Custom fuel prices (not following the real history).

I always love these challenges, (i think there is to few of them) But the timing right up before Christmas is not ideal:(

Love it! Loved the North America Challenge and this one is a bit similar. Opening bases worldwide will be interesting. Already beginning the preparation...finding possible bases. Maybe I can defend my 3rd position in those mini games.
