One that would be great for those DCA-BWI hops  ;D

My understanding is you can't fly routes under 50nm on this game, so BWI-DCA is not valid route (I run both airports in GW2 and can vouch for that particular example).

The exception is if that route crosses water to an island un reachable on land transport. So Vancouver-Victoria is an exception and a good example of a high demand route to boot.

If the route were valid, as in YVR-YYJ, then the question isn't about range really, but demand. Because what commercial aircraft is designed to only fly 50nm? If the demand is 500, as in YVR-YYJ, then you don't want to be flying Beechcraft. I operate that route in GW1 with 737s.

Because whilst a smaller aircraft would be beneficial, profit wise, one must always consider the fleet commonality aspect.

I fly Hamburg-Bremen and Düsseldorf-Eindhoven which is 53nm and 55nm. Profits are insane. Small Embraer 120 make up to 340.000$ a week. That's more than 250$ revenue per kilometer and I didnt even reach the price limit yet.

If you meant "aircrafts with shortest range": I think the "short brothers" are quite terrible. Let 410 also only has 250NM.

I haven't tried but can you do them with tech stops further away?
