I need another 8 players for a private game. 1988-2008. $10 million to start, no loans at all. World wide play

no that would be a seperate game, all the other games would run at high numbers like present.

Separate game, of course, but why? A sandbox game where you can experiment without competition?

Correct, sandbox, with 30 players to compete with. Just think how large you can grow your company!!!  ;)  If your still interested send me a PM. I have 5 people that are in :D need 25 more. :(


Thanks for the interest. The credit amount the game will cost, will be up to developer. I'm sure it will be a bit more expensive than a regular game.  I need a minimum of 30 players in order to make this possible. Here what I'm thinking for a scenario...

Start 1988 -2008...... 20yrs
10 million cash, with no loans ::)
Worldwide play
Company with largest value wins!

As soon as I have 30 people, I will send a reply with the credit amount needed.

I know three people, including myself, who would want to be in it.

May I suggest that you shrink the map size.  30 Airlines would simply mean that everyone just goes for the big buck routes and try to amass wealth as much as possible.

Plus, you will have a real problem with people hoarding planes and it would also make it so that no one would want to lease out their aircraft because they can not afford to give any one airline a leg up because of how few there are.     <--- amazing run on sentence.

I agree with Swiftus here Skylink.. maybe the world should be restricted to something really challenging like:

South America and Africa! Now that would be much more difficult map.
or perhaps:
Asia only
Oceania & South America (really REALLY difficult)
or something along these challenging lines.. what do you think?

Oceania isnt big enough for 30 airlines. 

Personally, I'd say do a North Ameria or Europe game. 

There is too much space in an Asia map and the first people lucky enough to get ER aircraft will corner the market and win.

what about NA and Europe? One continent doesn't allow anyone to try for long haul routes. what about Euro + Africa or NA + SA?

I had mentioned South America and Africa because they are far underutilized.. and would present a great challenge...

maybe Africa and Europe
Asia and Oceania
South America, Africa and Oceania

all those would be a good challenge even for 30 players.

Id also like to see how good we'd do without any DC9, 10s, Boeing 727s, 37s, etc, Airbus, and any large jets like that.. I bet the game would REALLY become competitive then!! (or at least a VERY LIMITED number of them)
