This is for non pre-beta-testers only ;)
What would your airline be named?
What will you include in your airline?

airlines22

first of all my airline would be called CHIAIR (prenounced like share)air and i would operaterate out of Chicago.
I would do many main routes and would fly (if started around now) 737-700's, 737-800's, 777-300ER's, 777-200's and E190's. The ratio between each of them would probably be 8:4:2:3:3. I would also have secondary hubs of Los Angles and New York. Airlines amuse me very much and am excited to both create one in this game and in real life.

// ( go boeing and Canada!!! :o ;D :D )

Seattle

Well, when I wansnt a pre-beta-tester, I wanted to be Seattle International Airways with a main hub in SEA, YVR, PDX, and SFO and Secondary hubs in GEG, BOI, ANC, FAI, and SLC. =) I would have fleets of 737-400s, 700s, and 800s, 777-200ERS, 777-300ERS, and ATR 72's and 42's.

737's  are excelent, but I believe airbus will be more fuel efficent for my model ,  if the starting time is befor airbus makes it in the market might use the DC-9's or 727's really depends on the starting time could even have to goto 707s  lol

737's are better for california. More fuel-efficient for the shorter hops (-700 than the A319) and the -800 and A320 are tied for the medium lenghted hops.

My Airline would be named "BahamaSky International Ltd
IATA - BL , ICAO BSL
Home Base- Freeport, Grand Bahama. Bahamas - FIA
Destinations- I will have to re-examine my list but plan to cater to all regions around the world depending on fuel costs and ground assistance, subsidiary stations etc.

it would include fleet ranging from Dehavilland DH8-200-300 series, to Boeing 73S-200 thru 400 series, accomodating to invalids requiring lift-chairs, to extra seating-space for large shaped passengers, all my Boeing aircrafts would have First Class options. and my DH8's would have menu options to comfort their needs. My Airline would work hard to meet and maintain the needs of all customers, offering First Class Service to each and every passenger going beyond the call of duty.

I know, but I play ingame.... so I know what planes are good. Dont even go for the A340... unless you really need it. 767 are better and the 777 is better. A330s are okay, but not the best. B747's arent very good, but in some places they make tons of money (asia, like in the real world). MD-11 is okay. DC-10 and Lockheeds are okay... havent tried them to full extent. 707's are great for long hual. worlk like a charm

I'm not new to sims lol,  I go back long ways 1st computer was vic- and up from from there. I have played many business sims, from the dos days of railroad tycoon to aerobiz nes, to capitalisim , transportation tycoon, ect ect ect...

I don't know the time frame of the game you are in, or when it started but if its in the 90's and you are useing 707's  the fuel cost has to be huge. Really depends when the game starts in history and where you are in the timeline,

A few questions I have been wondering is if there trans-atlantic travel ? can you puddle hop from SF or LA  to Hawaii on to the Far east ?  or is it 1 main hub and routes out from it and back ? or can you do a series of stops like LA to DAL to NY and back to Denv and LA for a loop ?
I could think of more but thies are a few questions i have wondered

History

Haven't figured out a name yet... but my hubs gonna be YVR. No idea what planes I'll use either.  I guess I better figure some stuff out.

Currently, you only have one base (hub, focus city, whatever you want to call it) where flights must originate. However, you can fly Hub-Destination 1 - Destination 2 - Destination 1 - Hub. Or (example) LAX -ORD -MSP- LAX. (So you can either fly it like a there is only a one way flight to ORD and MSP from LAX and only a one way flight between ORD and MSP). In this way, you can build focus cities, I did this when I based in Bangkok very well. For most destinations I did BKK - Destination 1 - Ho Chi Minh City - Destination 1 - BKK.

Hmm, own specific airline...

I can tell that in game truth is not always like you would it to be. As you favourite plane might not be best choise for you. Or order list of some needed plane is too long and you are forced to select some other plane.

And at in most scaries point you plane list might look like upper screenshot.

And if you make things ever worse, you order list might look lover screenshot.

Yes, there is some little challenges with fleet commonality...

Idioteque

Rainbow Airways International it would be called and operating out of SIN which is where I am from irl. With a few focus cities in the Southeast Asian region I hope. As for a/c types I am gambling on the A320 & A330 family with some sexy Embraers and ATRs perhaps. That is if it starts in the 90s. Would have to wait and see when the start date will be when this game starts.

Im thinking i will be going with Air Méditerranée - [AIM]

Won't be a very huge airline, but will hopefully have the market share in the Mediterranean areas, from Spain, France, Italy and the North African countries such as Morocco and Algeria. Fleet will likely be a mix of B738 and B737 aircraft. Possible hubs might include Nice Côte d'Azur, Barcelona, Marrakech, Rome, and Athens. Criss-cross network with some othe rflights to major destinations in other European countries (London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin etc).
