Route Image

I created a route and developed its image a lot, but my flights depart in different times throughout the week. Now I have more airplanes available, so I would like to change the flight times so they will all depart at the same time every day. However, I'm afraid that I will lose my route image. Does anyone know if it affects the route image when I change the flight departure/arrival time? Thanks

Sami

No it will not..

Route image in real life (and in Airway Sim) has not so much to do with timing and schedule but the familiarity of the route..

For example, if I ask you what airline(s) fly from Manchester to JFK, you may think "British Airways" "Virgin Atlantic" etc.. .but you will not think Pakistan International Airlines fly that route.. this means Pakistan Airlines have little or no route image...

100% true, which makes me think the RI effect should be decreased in the modern era. I have no clue wether Pakistan Airways flies from MPL to BOS(my last IRL route), but if I launch a meta-engine that gives me Pakistan Airways as the cheapest/most direct route from MPL to BOS, I'll find out very quick.

Which was not the case at all up to the 90s. The current model is probably accurate up to 2005.
