Hi,

Just a quick one... a search yeilded nothing.

Does the time of day a flight is scheduled affect the loads? i.e if it is 7:00 arriving 9:00 AM, will it do better than 01:00 arriving 0:300?

Thanks

Hallo, Sam!

Of course the flight times affects LF's, at least on shorter flights. I'm pretty sure that I'd trip around 18h rather then 01h

But it doesn't affect that much longhaul flights, as it has to have more "flexible schedules", because of the GMT's differences around the globe, but anyways, they are affected somehow by the late schedule time.

Hope I helped!

5:45-8:00 are high travel times, and typically you get an LF boost (not big) flights before 5:30-5:25 to around 0:00 have a large reduction in passengers. Instead of getting 85% LF in Y, you migh get 30%. Very few people fly at that time other than on longhual flights.

Another hightime is 12:00-15:00 Not to big but it works and then return flights home, 17:00-18:30 or so.... THats what I have noticed.
