Intercontinental with less than 200 pax demand.
« on: July 08, 2015, 11:48:04 AM »
In my new opened base I have some possibilities to open intercontinental routes between 3300 and 6000 km where pax demand is between 160 and 210.
Is it crazy?
Or is there a suitable plane that could cover that distance, with not so high capability that won't kill me in a short period?

Otherwise I opened a very large base just for some international low range routes where mainly everything has already been covered.

In this case, a good plane with pax under 115? O better go with A318/319?

You can fly up to 3400NM with 737-700, 4000NM with 737-MAX7, and 4450 with 737-700ER.

But you can make money only if unopposed & demand does not exceeds 200. When demand grows, the "too small" penalty kicks in, and once profitable line suddenly are getting useless.
