Is cargo being simulated as payload too?
« on: March 11, 2015, 11:06:57 AM »
Hi,

the name of this topic is quite precise already. I'm looking into buying new aircraft and from the performance table with max PAX number it would perfectly fit the routes that I want to serve. However if I add cargo and go to MTOW the range is not enough. This is why I wanted to ask if Cargo is making any profit for me? In this case I would chose another aircraft... however if cargo is irrelevant and I can fly the route with full pax load (but below MTOW) I would save money on fuel costs... if anyone has any answer please tell me. :)

Payload includes pax and their baggage, not other general cargo (so far).

That means I can stick to the smaller aircraft for this route. Okay, thanks a lot for your quick reply, sami! Having Cargo implemented in the game would be very interesting though ( regarding Only-Cargo airlines or so).
