Inactivity timeout?

A friend of mine (account name jcdenton) tried to login today and was told that his email address was unknown and/or password wrong. He didn't log in for quite some time, is there some kind of auto deletion of inactive accounts after some time? He still had credits on the account so that would be rather unpleasant.

Yes, as per the terms all accounts are subject to closure if they are inactive (no logins) for more than 270 days (no relation to if he has played, just a simple login resets the timer). The user will receive a warning of this about two weeks prior it happens.

Naturally everyone should keep a valid email in their profile, already for the reason if they loose their password (email is needed for the verification).

If he happened to have Credits left, it may be possible to dig the data from the database, but no promises..
