day transfer of pax?

assume you have 50 pax per day... can you fly a 80 pax aircraft 3 times a week and fill it? or do passengers never fly an other day?

Weekly demand isn't modelled, so it's day by day.

(also not sure if that will be made either, as with future pax systems it would make it extremely more complicated)

Think so, yeah. It'd be my solution to both routes too small for a daily flight, and the frequency issues on bigger routes.

On the downside, it would also be a lot more forgiving to scheduling mistakes.

Only those mistakes which push a return flight to the wrong side of midnight, which would be a very minor downside. And it would punish those who fly 8am/9am/10am vs the competitor who flies 7am/midday/5pm, something I'd see as a benefit. And most importantly, it makes a lot more smaller airports, smaller routes viable. Like those airports with some LH, which ends up being 30 different 50 pax routes, all of them currently unusable, 1500 LH pax/day from your already smallish demand pool going begging. Big benefit to making those feasible.
