Slot releases

Hey all,


in the good old days slots were released every JAN 01st, with ~70% chance of appearing (~30% of not appearing ), at least from what I remember. Now I know that with the recent updates ~1yr ago slot releases were made random, to avoid slot hogging.

It appears to me, that in MT most airports (specific examples LHR and SIN, which I monitor ~daily (real life time), for other airports I can't speak, but assume the same) have not gotten any new slots in about 3 yrs. So I was wondering if it has been planned to not get any new slots, or if it is coincidentally, or if it is a bug.

Would be great to get a statement of clarification on if this is intended, a bug, or due to the randomization not having struck these airports by any chance.

I was based at Arlanda in MT8 and as the years grew on the slot releases became virtually non-existant.

They are random, and if there recently hasn't been any new slots, then ... it's life. They don't grow all the time / every year etc.

Okay, just wanted to know if I was correct to assume it was targeted to be such.
