Delays due to turnaround times

All, I selected a turnaround time on an ATR 72-500 of 50 min (standard 25 min) with less then 1% change of delay. But still I get not more the 70% punctuality on my flights with delays accounted for by 75% due to turnaround times. The plane is 6 years old and with 98% level maintenance.

So what is happening here. Any suggestions?

If you only have one plane, it could just be a bit of bad luck.

It's also possible that you've ignored the turns at your HQ, that since the schedule says something like 'next flight can depart at 11:00' you have your next flight departing at 11:00. If your previous flight is landing at 10:35, that's only a 25 minute turnaround, a 25% chance of delay. You'd need to make the next flight leave at 11:20 to have a 45 minute turn and a ~1% chance of delay.

Thanks, that could be it. I'm scheduling exactly on the propossed next flight time. Thanks again.

Yep....that was it. I now have 96% punctuality....
