AirwaySim wishes a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our players! 
The year 2013 has been a year of changes here at AirwaySim. Late summer we finished the major project of site and user interface's complete redesign (our biggest single project so far), and there have been a lot of changes and other major milestones during the year. For example the current Jet Age game was the first of the new "ultra-long" game worlds that span over a time span of full year or more. The friend referral program has been also introduced and a new format for the free 7-day trial was adopted, as well as many other important changes to the game mechanics, and a long list of other minor updates and tweaks to make AirwaySim even better.
The starting year 2014 will also see a lot of changes and updates. The work is in progress for major updates to the financial and accounting systems, and later on we also hope to introduce completely new passenger demand systems and other features that make the game worlds entirely dynamic and more responsive to the actions of the player's airlines. All-in-all, AirwaySim will be still your number one choice next year when you wish to run your very own airline!
But for now, happy holidays to everyone! Your game lead developer will head over to meet the Santa Claus to a secret location in the Finnish Lapland after a few days.... Luckily we've been able to upgrade our northern offices a bit (pictured below), as our previous premises left a bit to hope for (old offices pictured in
this thread from April).
