Aircraft orders

Is it normal when you order new aircraft (operational lease) you are made to wait almost 2 years  while there are only like 10 other planes on order in those 2 years before you get them?

Fokker F 28 3000, already availeble and tons of free slots before '77 ( in dec '75 now)

That model is not certified until mid-1977. Says that on the aircraft data, and order pages.

Look at what it says when you try to order one. The f28 1000 & 2000 are available now. The first f28 3000 won't be built until June 1977. Which is why you don't get yours until 19th June 1977, the 2nd one to be built.
