question about classes - if a lower level of class gets filled up, and theres space in the higher class, is the system gonna fill up the higher class space whith lower class tickets?

No. C class will stay empty if there is no C-class demand. No transition between classes possible.

Yes there is.

But if you have zero demand of C class, then Y class pax will not transfer to C. But if there is a shortage of C seats those pax can use Y and vice versa with some limits.

Now I understand why on some thin routes I'm able to sell more C tickets (4-5) than demand (1-2)
