Picky passengers?

Hi,

So I am looking to expand, and I was just looking at some of the destinations that I can fly my 707's (yes, I still operate them. Low acquisition costs, make them profitable, even with fuel being at over $300 a barrel) And I was looking at ORD-LIM and ORD-Hawaii and they said the "Plane is too small, so passengers want to travel on something bigger." Now these routes are about 3500 miles long.

At the same time I fly ATL-Moscow/Warsaw, and I didn't get the message. So are passengers just more picky on these flights or what?
Thanks,

The Moscow route is half the size of the Lima route and one eighth of the Honolulu one.

Smaller routes can be flown by smaller aircraft while passengers on bigger routes want to have a widebody.

Also depends on overall demand. And as long nobody is contesting you with a "proper" model, they will fly with you.
