Canceled Flight ?

Hi Guys
How come flight can be cancelled due to too short turn-around ?
I do understand that A/C can pick up a delay that will carry on for further routes operated that day?! But I don't think it is possible to cancel the flight due to that.

If your flight is having a departure at lets say 16h, and your previous flight arrives later dans the minimum turn-around time, your flight will be logicaly canceled...

but logically flight would not be cancelled but depart with big delay.

If the delays cumulate too much, it will be cancelled...

(but the system cannot exactly calculate that, so it's based on different probability calculations)
