BA Interview
« on: July 16, 2012, 10:39:09 AM »
Hi,

I'm looking for a career change and have applied for a role at British Airways!
It's a Revenue Management Analyst role. (I.e. bit like AWS,  but in real life  :) )
The job is basically to get the most revenue/profit out of aicrafts/routes.

I've got a phone interview this week.
any1 got some industry/insider knowledge on the likely questions they may ask at the interview?
I currently don't work in the airline industry so some insider knowledge could be helpful

I spend many hours each week on AWS, may as well try and do it in real life and get paid for it :)

thanks in advance for any responses.

For us down here to say good luck is to jinx things. The way to farewell a person is by saying merde LOL, for example when on a final exam.

In an international forum it´s not recommendable to use phrases that are somewhat unique to your country without explaining them right away.I was wondering myself why you used such an inappropiate word.

I only know the airline pilot gouge sites, not sure about your area.

a quick google of "British Airways Gouge" brought this up
maybe type in your title of your job too?

either way GOOD LUCK, crosses fingers for you, sorry I don't have any contacts there.

Like actors telling each other to "break a leg".
