Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam is not opened 24/7 real life like it is in AirwaySim. First planes start to take off around 5 in the morning and it´s very busy the whole day long. But after 9 pm it´s getting quiet, the shops are closing... And after midnight there are only a few flights incoming, no departures. Maybe a good idea to change this in the update?

Sami

Number of departures / arrivals itself is not a reliable information, the airport has to be closed and not accepting actually any flights for it to be closed also in AWS.

= reliable sources are always needed (= mainly Netherlands AIP). If found, bug reports is the proper forum to make sure it is fixed in future.

I understand, Sami.

The other Dutch airports in AWS don´t play a big role, but in real life they are growing each year mostly due to the low-cost carriers like Transavia and Ryanair. Almost big enough to start a company at the airport. Maybe this can be updated in the next version op AWS.

PAX in 2011

Eindhoven Airport: 2.650.000 pax
Rotterdam The Hague Airport: 1.158.420 pax
Maastricht Aachen Airport: 360.000 pax
Groningen Eelde Airport: 160.000 pax

It is opened 24/7 as you can read the aerodrome charts. The reason there are no departures at 03:00 is that no-one wants to fly at that time. Freight however loves these slots as they are the cheapest available.

Please see http://www.ais-netherlands.nl/aim/120517-120628/eAIP/html/index-en-GB.html for more information regarding Dutch aerospace.
