Daily costs of your own aircraft on used market

I've just noticed -- because I haven't been paying much attention lately -- that the aircraft I put up for sale on the used market are incurring daily costs.  Is this new?  Because I don't remember this from previous games -- but as I said I generally ignore the used market once I've put the planes on it.  I gather these are depreciation/storage costs?  Is this an attempt to force competitive selling or scrapping of aircraft?  Just wondering.

The cost is hardly even close enough to invoking such an effect.
